Loving Arms, Inc. wants to thanks The Ed Reed Foundation, The MD Home Team and Direct Mortgage Loans for the homemaker of our shelter. This is a place our homeless youth can call home. (HOME PLATE)

The Ed Reed Foundation with the MD Home Team & Direct Mortgage Loans teamed up for the Home Plate Project benefiting Loving Arms Youth Shelter. The Ed Reed Foundation, as part of it’s over six years of support for Loving Arms Youth Shelter, is excited to announce a newly formed project with The MD Home Team and Direct Mortgage Loans. Named Home Plate Project, in its infancy, will provide Loving Arms Youth Shelter in Gwynn Oak a much-deserved makeover. Expansion for the Home Plate Project is already in the works.

Loving Arms is Maryland’s only shelter which can house unaccompanied children. “The home at Loving Arms is a true blessing for the children and it’s an honor to partner with such great companies like The MD Home Team and Direct Mortgage Loans”, comments The Ed Reed Foundation.

Josh Mente, Team Lead at The MD Home Team, helped put the Home Plate Project initiative together upon learning about Loving Arms. Josh assessed what was needed and goals that could be reached in an expedited time frame. The vision and goodwill expressed by The MD Home Team is invaluable to the growth of this project. With the help of Direct Mortgage Loans, the Home Plate Project is set to expand its giving.

“Direct Mortgage Loans is committed to serving our local communities by providing support and resources” says Erin Naylor of DML. “We are thrilled to announce our partnership with The Ed Reed Foundation and the MD Home Team. As a mortgage company, we understand the importance of housing in a person’s life. Through our efforts, we hope to improve the life for the children at Loving Arms”.
