On any given day, there are more than 2,000 unaccompanied homeless children in our state, each of them a potential victim of labor and/or sex trafficking.  Loving Arms is one of the only two emergency shelters in the state of Maryland that provides shelter and support to these children.

Serving Children and families since 1999, Loving Arms, a 501(C)(3) non-profit organization, houses children between the ages of 12 and 18, providing food, shelter and clothing, as well as other essential services to address the abuse and trauma experienced by these children.  In addition, we provide access to educational services, mentoring, individual, family and group counseling, as well as substance use and abuse services.

Many of the children served have been victimized or would have been, if they had not found their way to shelter, something that’s not readily available to unaccompanied minors.  No one should have to compromise themselves for a safe place to sleep, especially a child.  We can end youth homelessness in our state.  Will you help?
